[ Do you know about DeSci? ]
When I think of DeSci, I remember URO and RIF from the end of last year. I can't quite recall what those projects were about, but I think they were related to research in Paris, haha.
Here's the overall flow:
End of 2024: DeSci sector market cap ~$150M, about 25 projects
Peak in January 2025: total market cap surges to ~$1B
Current as of September 2025: ~$850M, stabilizing with about 85 projects
However, these days, interest in DeSci is rising again as BIO is gaining traction. It might have been there before, but it didn't catch my eye.
BIO also seems to be a project that was around during the DeSci boom at the end of last year. On November 8, 2024: Binance Labs announced its first DeSci investment.
Lately, it seems like there are many projects emerging in the BIO space, so it might be good to expect another DeSci boom. (Is that right?)

Currently, BIO Protocol is leading the ecosystem with Binance's support and Molecule's technological capabilities, and it is expected that milestones such as building privacy infrastructure, generating IP-NFT revenue, and producing actual clinical data over the next 12 months will determine the next growth cycle of the sector.
