a recap of my background on avalanche, for the newcomers:
- joined @AvascanExplorer in June 2020, prepping it for the launch as social media manager - didn't get in the ICO, arrived too late
- streamed for over 5 hrs here while chain was launching on sep 21, 2020
- grew the avascan community to 1000 people in a few weeks, our validators 'snorlax' and 'ditto' were the most delegated to
- spent 20% of my time in 2021 and 2022 between social, marketing and product trying to make avascan ready for then-subnets (now L1s) and outside avalanche. hired 10+ people in less than a year (we were 5 for the first year)
- jan 2022 we closed our first avalanche subnet explorer deal for 1,000$/month
- started marketing @routescan_io 1:1 to avalanche L1s and non-avalanche chains
- locked 3 deals before launching routescan in seoul on sep 5, 2023
- 2023 mini bull brought us 5+ new customers in weeks, including @blast , @taikoxyz , @berachain , @Chiliz
- nov 2023 we transitioned snowtrace dot io from etherscan to us mid-flight while also trying to break even
- 2024 we grew exponentially with more deals and traction, I moved to growth strategy, doubled our head count
- 2025 moved again to lobbying but I don't know what my role is - the beauty of startup life
